House of James Ukraine provides long-term foster care to equip children for self-sufficiency through Christ based “Family Homes”.

here are many needs in the world… where do we begin to help? How do we begin to help? These are questions that some of us ask ourselves when we see so much suffering in the world. “House of James Ministries” is one place to start. Many children in Ukraine are in need of your help. At the “House of James” our mission is to provide shelter, food, clothes, education, a warm bed and a message of hope and love through the gospel of God though are family homes. “When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.” Mark 6:34

Our vision, as we grow, is to open up various family homes located throughout Ukraine and even the world. It is a vital part of our ministry to show orphans and the forgotten children the same love and compassion that Christ gives. It is our philosophy to provide physical needs hand in hand with spiritual needs. The two are inseparable. “What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15. Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16. If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17. In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” James 2:14-17 We believe this was the method in which Christ demonstrated compassion and reached the hurting, the hopeless and the lost. Showing them that there is a God who cares and who desires to not only provide their needs, but so longs to have an intimate relationship with them through His Son, JESUS.
